 Civil Air Patrol:  The nonprofit CAP is the official Air Force auxiliary with more than 64,000 members nationwide. It performs 95% of continental U.S. inland search and rescue missions as tasked by the Air Force RescueCoordination Center. Volunteers also perform homeland security, disaster relief and counterdrug missions at the request of federal, state and local agencies.
The members take a leading role in aerospace education and serve as mentors to the young people currently participating in CAP cadet programs. CAP has been performing missions for America for more than 60 years.

The Organization of Black Airline Pilots is a 501(c(3) organization founded
 in 1976.  We have full (Airline Pilots) and Associate (Non-Airline Pilots) who share our goals.

The Aerospace Science Department at Metropolitan State College of Denver offers a bachelor of science degree with majors in aviation technology, aircraft systems management, aviation management, and aviation maintenance management. Metro State is the only public institution in Colorado that offers these degrees. Housed in the School of Professional Studies, the department features a dedicated faculty with wide-ranging professional experience.

Junior ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps)

The programs, run through the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines, are taught as elective courses at more than 3,000 high schools nationwide.JROTC builds self-discipline, teamwork, motivation, and confidence in young people. Classroom instruction is augmented throughout the year by community service activities, drill competition, field meets, flights, visits to military activities, marksmanship training, and other extra-curricular activities. JROTC programs benefit all students with an emphasis upon under-served and minority students. African-Americans made up 33 percent of all participants nationwide, hispanics made up 10 percent, asian and pacific islander 16 percent and white students comprised 41 percent of JROTC.

EAA, the Experimental Aircraft Association, is a growing and diverse
organization of members with a wide range of aviation interests and backgrounds.EAA was
founded in 1953 by a group of 
 individuals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who were interested in
building their own airplanes. Through the decades, the organization expanded its mission to
include antiques, classics, warbirds, aerobatic aircraft, ultralights, helicopters and contemporary
manufactured aircraft.

For more than 65 years, The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics
(AIAA) and its predecessors, has been the principal society of the aerospace engineer and scientist.
Officially formed in 1963 through a merger of the American Rocket Society (ARS) and the Institute of
Aerospace Sciences (IAS), the purpose was, and still is, "to advance the arts, sciences, and
technology of aeronautics and astronautics, and to promote the professionalism of those engaged

The National Aeronautic Association is the oldest national aviation
