Prior to his retirement in 2003, John spent 38 years with United Airlines in a wide variety of assignments at United’s World Headquarters in Chicago and at the company’s Flight Training Center in Denver.

During this tenure he worked in many areas of human resource management and oversaw a broad range of functions including college relations, succession planning, and employee training & development.

From 1985 to 1995 he also served as an adjunct instructor in the School of Business at Metropolitan State College of Denver, teaching courses in Business Law, Commercial and Corporate Law, and Labor Relations.
